IL PRIMO FESTIVAL IN STREAMING TUTTO FEMMINILE

L’Online Female Fest è il primo festival in streaming tutto al femminile mai creato.

E’ stato calcolato che, ad aprile 2020, circa 5 miliardi di persone nel mondo sono state messe in quarantena o in regimi restrittivi a causa della pandemia da Covid-19. Questo, purtroppo, ha significato per alcune persone la perdita del lavoro, cassa integrazione, perdita dei propri cari e la revoca temporanea di partecipare ad eventi dal vivo.
Questa situazione ha impattato negativamente diversi settori in tutto il mondo, ma soprattutto i musicisti e tutta l’industria intorno ad essi. Si conta, poi, che le artiste femminili abbiano maggiormente sentito l’impatto negativo della crisi a causa di alcune situazioni pre-esistenti. Infatti, una ricerca condotta nel 2017, ha evidenziato come solo il 16,8% degli artisti siano donne e di come vengano pagate meno rispetto agli equivalenti maschili.
In questo momento, quindi, è ancora più importante dare voce a musiciste donne, portando un pizzico di gioia e speranza nelle case di potenzialmente miliardi di persone in isolamento: tutto questo grazie alla musica e allo streaming.
Questi sono i pensieri che hanno portato alla nascita del primo Online Female Fest.
Il festival in streaming si terrà sabato, 16 maggio dalle ore 18:00 italiane sulla piattaforma StageIt, mentre gli artisti si esibiranno da casa.

Il biglietto non ha un costo fisso, bensì è una donazione (che andrà interamente in beneficenza) secondo le disponibilità di ognuno (minimo suggerito $5). Gli organizzatori infatti sono consapevoli che, soprattutto in questo momento, non tutti potrebbero permettersi il biglietto di un festival a prezzo pieno e vogliono rendere l’evento a portata di tutti.
TUTTO IL RICAVATO DEL FESTIVAL SARA’ DONATO A HELP MUSICIANS che sostiene finanziariamente i musicisti che hanno perso il lavoro in questo periodo.

The Online Female Fest is the first virtual female festival in history.

It is estimated that, as of April 2020, around 5 billion people are on lockdown due to the Covid-19 pandemic. This translated into loss of jobs, loved ones and temporary freedom to attend any type of live events.
The current crisis has impacted many sectors worldwide and especially musicians and the music industry. Female artists have been impacted even more as a result of an underlying situation. In fact, a research conducted in 2017 showed that only 16.8% of all active artists are women, in addition to having a lower income compared to their male counterpart.
In this situation, it is even more important to give voice to female creators, while bringing joy and hope into the homes of billions of people in isolation, thanks to the healing power of music.
The World is facing a unique challenge and women can be a driving force in this historical moment. These are the feelings behind the creation of the first Online Female Fest.
The virtual festival will be held on Saturday, May 16th 2020 from 6.00 p.m. CET and will be hosted on StageIt, the premier online live concert platform, while artists will livestream their sets from home.

Tickets will be on ‘pay what you can basis’ (suggested minimum $5), as we keep in mind that most people have recently lost their jobs or a part of their income and we want this festival to be accessible to as many as possible.
ALL THE PROCEEDS OF THE FESTIVAL WILL BE DONATED TO HELP MUSICIANS UK to financially support many artists who are currently out of a job.
